Closing the beta gate without losing the map
The application window is closed; the learning continues.
The private beta application window has ended. Closing it is not a disappearance—it is a boundary that gives the next round of work a clear shape.
What stays
The core idea remains: make useful API building blocks approachable, and teach the concepts behind them. Earlier applications remain on record and do not need to be resubmitted.
What changes
The next version centers the Academy and the developer platform around one coherent journey. Lessons, progress, rewards, developer keys, and the playground need to agree about identity and state. That consistency matters more than adding another disconnected feature.
What we are validating
Before another invitation goes out, we are testing authentication, account recovery, persistent progress, atomic rewards, key lifecycle, usage metering, mobile behavior, accessibility, monitoring, and recovery procedures in an isolated staging environment.
The gate is closed for now. The trail ahead is clearer because of everyone who helped draw the first map.
